Have you ever noticed the icons that appear in the address bar or your Favorites list (or the tabs if you are using tabbed browsing in Internet Explorer or Firefox):

Those little guys are called "Favorite Icons" and are actually very easy to get in there. It's just a small 16x16 graphic image, saved as favicon.ico, that sits at the root of your site.

First, you have to CREATE one. You are going to learn two easy ways to create a favicon.ico file: draw one by hand, or convert an image. Both methods require online tools.
