Create the Drop Shadow

Click the Add a layer style button in the Layers panel and select Drop Shadow:

Set the Size and Distance to be 5 pixels, then click OK:

Now wer'e actually going to move that layer to the top left.... about five pixels up and five pixels left. Select the Move tool.... it looks like this:

Now just click on the white area of the layer and drag it:
