Email Links

Suppose someone was reading your page and wanted to send you a comment or question.

You can create an email link using <a href="mailto:xxxxxxx">Describe Email Link</a> where xxxxxxx is the target email address. Study the following example, and the accompanying markup:

email me: briano.whs@gmail.com

<P>email me: <a href="mailto:briano.whs@gmail.com"> briano.whs@gmail.com</a></P>

Test it out... the reason it probably doesn't work for you is you don't have an email client (like Outlook or Eudora) installed on your machine. If you wanted to send an email to me, you'd probably have to copy the address and paste it in a web-based email client such as Hotmail, Yahoo, or Gmail.

That is why I spelled out the full email address.... to give users the opportunity to copy and paste if needed. Please do the same thing! Never provide contact info like this: email me
