Create the Menu

Now we'll create a menu of buttons to navigate the timeline.

1. Start by adding a buttons layer.
2. Use the Text tool to type Triangle on the Stage
3. Convert the text to a button (F8 is the Convert to Symbol keyboard shortcut)
4. Name the button bTriangle
5. Assign the Instance Name bTriangle to the button

Repeat for the other three menu items. Don't forget the unique instance names! When you're done creating the buttons, we'll align them:

1. Select all four buttons with the Selection Tool
2. Bring up the Align window (CTRL+K is the keyboard shortcut)
3. Make certain To stage is deselected
4. Align to the left age
5. Distribute vertical center
