Tie Up the Loose Ends

Now that everything is aligned, I'm going to make a few changes to the project:

  1. Change the Stage width to 650px
  2. Change the background color to #E6E6E6
  3. Change the text color for the Over state for each button

Now we get to the advantage of using Frame Labels over frame numbers. Let's say we want to add or remove frames from the timeline. With Frame Labels, we won't need to make any changes to the ActionScript, because the frame labels move with everything else.

Let's try it. In the example below, we're going to speed up the triangle and circle animation sequences by removing frames. We select frames on all layers, then use the keyboard shortcut SHIFT+F5:
